DUNCAN and ARNSBERG SIGN NATIONAL LETTERS OF INTENT
Seniors to Take Their Game to the Next Level

Lamar Viking Seniors Patrick Duncan and Kyle Arnsberg signed national letters of intent to play college baseball on Wednesday and will continue their careers at the NCAA Division 1 level. Duncan has committed to play for the Western Michigan University Broncos of the Mid-American Conference and Arnsberg will suit up for the Arizona State Sun Devils in the PAC-10.

“Patrick and Kyle have been leaders both on and off the field for the Vikings; Western Michigan and ASU are getting two very good players for their programs” said Lamar Head Coach Paul Kino.

Duncan is a three year varsity letterman and as a Junior was First Team “All District” at 3rd base while also performing as a relief pitcher. This season he is playing short stop and has become the team “closer” on the mound.

Arnsberg is a four year letterman and has been named “Newcomer of the Year” as well as First Team All District during his career. His Junior year he was a starting pitcher and All District at first base. This season he is spitting time between 1st base and catcher.
